The present invention relates to a building system for walls located above ground and which comprises thermal insulation with applied surface layer.
Known building systems of the specified type include insulation with an air gap between the insulation and outside the masonry, or the insulation is moisture-resistant and does not let moisture through or drainage grooves are arranged along one side surface of the insulation boards. Furthermore, thermally insulating drainage boards may occur but which are not formed of cellular plastic material and which are not suitable for use for plaster coating.
The main object of the present invention is therefore primarily to achieve a building system which i.a. solves the above-mentioned disadvantages and which enables safe and rational construction of walls with external plaster on the wall.
Said object is achieved with a building system according to the present invention, which is mainly characterized in that an inner insulating plate supported on the wall frame has both thermal insulating function and draining function internally in the said combined thermal insulating and draining inner insulating plate and that a surface layer in the form of plaster forms an outer surface layer outside said inner insulating sheet.
The invention is described below as a pair of preferred embodiments, reference being made to the accompanying drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows a first example of a building system according to the invention and Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment of a building system according to the invention.
The invention is an air barrier and a second layer of weatherproofing of facades. As a second-layer weather seal, it also protects against weather and wind during the construction process.
With the invention as a frame-protecting air barrier, the risk of condensation in the wall construction is minimized. The air barrier consists of several components that are applied continuously and unbroken on the outside of the structure and at connection details and bushings. The construction process must be carried out professionally in such a way that it is possible to ensure the continuity and long-term durability of the air barrier.
The function as an air barrier should not be confused with a vapor barrier / vapor brake such as e.g. internal PE foil. A vapor barrier should be located on the warm side of the wall structure. If a vapor barrier is not used, the wall construction and ventilation must be adapted for moisture dimensioning.
A building system 1, 101 according to the present invention, which is intended to be used for walls 2, 202 which are located above ground and which comprises thermal insulation with 103 in the wall 104, applied surface layer, comprises an inner insulating plate 3, 2, 202, and which supported on the frame 4 itself of the wall; exhibits both thermal insulating function and draining function, inside said combined thermal insulating and draining inner insulating board 3; 103.
A surface layer in the form of an outer facade layer 5; 105 of plaster forms an outer surface layer outside said inner insulating board 3; 103.
Furthermore, the building system includes 1; 101 a further in the wall 2; 102 supported insulating board 6; 106. Said insulating disc 6; 106 is supported outside the combined insulating and draining inner insulating sheet 3; 103 and which has a thermally insulating function.
Said inner combined insulating and draining insulating board 3; 103 is formed of suitable foam material and the said insulating sheet 106 located outside it is formed of foam material.
Attachment of the first inner combined 103 is provided on so 107. insulating and draining insulating disc 3; method of gluing it to a suitable substrate 7; The said second outer insulating plate 106 is also adhered to a substrate, preferably to the said inner combining insulating and draining plate 103 on its outside 103A by e.g. glued to it.
To reinforce the wall 2; 102 can reinforcement 4; 104 e.g. fiberglass fabric is added to the wall 2; 102 primer layer 5; 105 wherein said outer insulating sheet 106 is ground on its outer surface 106A to be well cleaned and smooth prior to reinforcement and priming.
Inside of the first inner insulating / drainage disc 3; 103 are attached stiffening disks 8; 108 to which the inner insulating sheet 3; 103 is attached by gluing by means of tooth-filled glue 9; 109 as also the outer disc 106 is glued with toothed glue 110.
Between gaps and possible failure points in said insulating boards 3; 103, 106 are filled with jointing foam so that no voids arise between them which can spread heat / cold and moisture through the wall 2; 102.
The nature and function will be understood from what is described above and that shown in the drawings, but the invention is of course not limited to the embodiments described above and shown in the accompanying drawings. Modifications are possible, in particular as regards the nature of the various parts, or by the use of equivalent technology, without departing from the scope of the invention as defined in the claims.
